Smashing Pumpkins - 1979 This is one of the songs that transports me directly to 1995 when I close my eyes. I’ve already written about it, but it just came on my iPod and all of a sudden I was in the 9th grade hallway, slamming my locker door shut, pulling my backpack over one shoulder, adjusting the baby barrettes in my hair and dashing off to class before the second bell.
